Who We Are
The Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter at UFS advances justice, equity, and professional transformation through student-led action, mentorship, and advocacy.
Our Foundation
BLASC UFS is committed to promoting a fair and inclusive legal system, protecting the rights of members, and cultivating responsible legal leadership rooted in constitutional values and democratic principles.
We work toward a non-racial, non-sexist legal profession where legal education and justice institutions are representative, accessible, and responsive to the needs of all South Africans.
Through advocacy, collaboration, and service, BLASC UFS empowers women, historically disadvantaged communities, and persons with disabilities while strengthening the collective voice of law students and young legal professionals. We are committed to an independent judiciary and a legal fraternity that is transparent, accountable, non-sexist, non-racial, and dedicated to academic excellence.
